Harry W. Shepherd collection, 1923-1960.

Documents Shepherd's work as a horticulturist, instructor, and landscape architect. Consists of writings, collected articles, plant photographs, photographs of European gardens, and course materials. Landscape architecture projects are represented primarily in photographs, though a small number of reports and drawings also exist. Drawings of a project in St. Francis Wood by Shepherd and architect Henry Gutterson are also included.

Harry Whitcomb Shepherd was an instructor of landscape architecture at UC Davis from 1922-1925, and at UC Berkeley from 1926-1955.
